John Fitzgerald | Director of Special Operations and Investigations


John Fitzgerald is a former Special Agent with the United States Department of Justice, having been assigned to the Los Angeles and New York Field Divisions. From 2012 – 2016, he supervised security operations in 35 countries, including a Crime Suppression / Counter-terrorism Task Force with the Brazilian Civil Police for the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Rio Olympics. Mr. Fitzgerald has been tasked with the United States Secret Service and the Dept. of State Diplomatic Security Service as a Supervisory Agent for 2 US Presidents and several foreign dignitaries.

John is presently overseeing Treston Security’s International Security and Investigations Division. He holds a BA in English and an MS in Secondary English Education from the City University of New York at Queens College. John taught English and English As A Second Language for the New York City Board of Education for 3 years before his appointment to the US Dept. of Justice. John is an active member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation InfraGard and the Dept. of State Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC).
